Welcome to The endo belly coach

My mission in life is to empower people all over the world to live and thrive with endometriosis and its co-conditions.

I am a certified health coach specialised in endometriosis and small intestine bacterial overgrowth (a.k.a. SIBO; one of the key causes of endo belly!).

I am also an endo, interstitial cystitis and SIBO warrior myself – so I know what you’re going through and how overwhelming starting this healing journey can seem.

I am here to empower, guide and support you to find your own unique path to managing and healing your endo and endo belly symptoms (and those accompanying co-conditions!), through a holistic, full-body approach.

I have worked in endometriosis for over eight years, having both volunteered and worked at Endometriosis UK, before going on to study with women’s health specialist Dr Jessica Drummond at The Integrative Women's Health Institute.

I have intentionally specialised in both endometriosis and the gut complications that can contribute to endo belly, most notably, SIBO.

My specialist education includes:

  • Women’s Health Coaching at IWHI including functional nutrition for women’s health

  • Chronic Pelvic Pain at the IWHI

  • Endometriosis at the IWHI

  • SIBO Professional training with Dr Allison Siebecker

  • SIBO Practitioner training with Dr. Nirala Jacobi

  • Women’s Hormone Health Certification with Nicole Jardim

If you’re ready to take back control and thrive with endo, I really recommend reading some of my past articles and diving into my podcast archives.

Sending you love on your healing journey,

Jessica x

My endometriosis story...

Endometriosis and SIBO essentially took away my education, a business and two careers.

Throughout my life, I have endured a constant pattern of fatigue and burnout, eventually having to walk away from each chapter of my life, exhausted and assuming I was too weak for the path I had chosen.

My adolescence and young adult years were riddled with disordered eating patterns in a misguided attempt to minimise the bloating and IBS that, unbeknown to me, were due to a case of lifelong SIBO.

I was finally diagnosed with endo at 24, after several years of multiple STI tests, misdiagnosed kidney infections and dismissal from the medical community, but it took another few years to realise that the fatigue, burnout and countless other gut symptoms were all linked.

Whilst conventional medicine is important and necessary, I found no relief from surgery and I couldn’t take most forms of hormones and painkillers. Eventually, after finding my daily life almost impossible and feeling suicidal, I began the journey of healing and managing through an anti-inflammatory diet. The difference I saw was immediate and I had the first manageable period I’d had in years, and to this day, my endometriosis is under control and my periods are largely pain free.

Several years into this journey, after my endo belly symptoms had improved but hadn’t resolved entirely, I began investigating the link between endometriosis and small intestine bacterial overgrowth. After my SIBO diagnosis, my passion to raise awareness about the connection and how the two conditions interreact and exacerbate each other became a key focus of my work.

I specialised in the leading approaches to SIBO to create my own endo belly protocol to help those living with endo, endo belly symptoms and potentially SIBO. While I work with all people with endometriosis, most of the people who come to me are also dealing with IBS issues, which when addressed, have a positive impact on endometriosis itself.

Due to my own experiences and those of my clients, and the connection between all of these conditions to endo and SIBO, I also take a particular interest in allergies/histamine intolerance, chronic bladder pain, hypermobility, POTS and Ehlers -Danlos syndrome.
